The Edo State Government led by his excellency; Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki has sworn in Omua Alonge Oni-Okpaku as Commissioner for Environment and Suistainability in the State. Governor Obaseki says the State Government is determined to transform the state in a hurry hence, the inclusion of the new Commissioner who the governor said has what it takes to effect the needed change. Mr Obaseki charged the new Commissioner to eschew acts capable of affecting the progress being recorded. The Governor is optimistic that with her background in the environmental sector, Edo State will no doubt record a positive turn around. Mrs Oni-Okpaku assured to the Governor and the people of Edo State of her readiness to contribute her quota in advancing the State and thanked the Governor for giving her the opportunity to serve.
